![]() Looks a little incomplete with an out-of-place rock wall bordering both sides of the starting line along with sponsors. *Archipelago Avenue: Definitely a decent track, complete with the cars from Wuhu Loop. *N64 Moo Moo Farm: I have honestly no clue why this is here since Wii Moo Moo Meadows is better in every single way. I really loved this course once I tested it. *Evergreen Crossing: Pretty decent original ice CT, and it was Insanely rough in older versions with a sharp reverse-C curve right at the beginning that is almost impossible not to fall into. *GBA Bowser’s Castle 3: Not exactly faithful to this game since the dash panels and glider panels are pretty much the same, in contrast to the vanilla GBA Bowser’s Castle 1. *SNES Mario Circuit 1: Honestly looks like an inferior clone of SNES Mario Circuit 2 in the vanilla game, but actually pretty decent in that regard, in addition to the 5 laps that the original version had. *GBA Riverside Park: Another faithful recreation, but I feel like it’s missing out on some of the features of Mario Kart 7 because when you get in the water, you black out and respawn at the last checkpoint. I have no idea why this is here, though I do like it a little bit. *Autumn Forest: Definitely an inferior version of Maple Treeway. *GBA Sky Garden: Definitely pretty faithful to the original without being a lazy port, but what the hell is the Wii Sports Resort blimp doing here!? I have no idea where that "Yoshi" quote is coming from, but I never really played this outside of Grand Prix, Random Tracks VS Races, and CTWW. *Galvarny Falls: Reminds me of Gravity Falls, a Disney TV show taking place in central Oregon, full of Supernatural stuff. *N64 Mario Raceway: Never really bothered to play this track, but from another’s review, he said it was amazing. *Concord Town: Amazing autumnal course, and bonus points for taking place in a city! One thing I would like to mention is that with the upcoming Mission Mode, is that the bosses would be near-impossible to recreate without adding extra character slots, which may or may not be possible, but if you decide that the Koopalings are bosses, you gotta make them playable, too. Not much to say from the others, aside from Waluigi and Honey Queen being incompatible since they share the same spot. Being in Metal Mario’s spot really helps making him overpowered. While some of them are good and others not so much, there’s one that really stands out among the rest: Chain Chomp. *Mission Mode: The thing that made Mario Kart DS unique was this, and PabloMK7 is porting this RIGHT NOW!! I really hope that offline countdown will be implemented so that you won’t have to deal with trolls as much as online. *Countdown Mode: While it does sound good on paper, being only able to play it online pretty much sets the stage for Star trolls which prevent you from moving much at all. *Single-Player VS mode: Definitely the best thing CTGP-7 added to the game, the whole point of installing CFW on my 3DS was for Single-Player VS mode in MK7, which is done really well! Thank you, for this awesome feature! My suggestion to improve this is to force the host’s cc on everyone else to make things fair. ![]() *CC Modifier: Definitely funny to mess around with, but when in Local Multiplayer, your friends could screw up everything by setting their cc modifier to 1cc, which causes the game to crash, to 9999cc, which causes that player (and several CPUs, if any) to fly off the track. That’s when CTGP-7 comes in, which fixes MK7 a lot, and here are my thoughts. Tracks not found in CTGP-R.Mario Kart 7 is a decent game, but it’s really missing a lot of stuff that could’ve made the game better.
