![]() Looks a little incomplete with an out-of-place rock wall bordering both sides of the starting line along with sponsors. *Archipelago Avenue: Definitely a decent track, complete with the cars from Wuhu Loop. *N64 Moo Moo Farm: I have honestly no clue why this is here since Wii Moo Moo Meadows is better in every single way. I really loved this course once I tested it. *Evergreen Crossing: Pretty decent original ice CT, and it was Insanely rough in older versions with a sharp reverse-C curve right at the beginning that is almost impossible not to fall into. *GBA Bowser’s Castle 3: Not exactly faithful to this game since the dash panels and glider panels are pretty much the same, in contrast to the vanilla GBA Bowser’s Castle 1. *SNES Mario Circuit 1: Honestly looks like an inferior clone of SNES Mario Circuit 2 in the vanilla game, but actually pretty decent in that regard, in addition to the 5 laps that the original version had. *GBA Riverside Park: Another faithful recreation, but I feel like it’s missing out on some of the features of Mario Kart 7 because when you get in the water, you black out and respawn at the last checkpoint. I have no idea why this is here, though I do like it a little bit. *Autumn Forest: Definitely an inferior version of Maple Treeway. *GBA Sky Garden: Definitely pretty faithful to the original without being a lazy port, but what the hell is the Wii Sports Resort blimp doing here!? I have no idea where that "Yoshi" quote is coming from, but I never really played this outside of Grand Prix, Random Tracks VS Races, and CTWW. *Galvarny Falls: Reminds me of Gravity Falls, a Disney TV show taking place in central Oregon, full of Supernatural stuff. *N64 Mario Raceway: Never really bothered to play this track, but from another’s review, he said it was amazing. *Concord Town: Amazing autumnal course, and bonus points for taking place in a city! One thing I would like to mention is that with the upcoming Mission Mode, is that the bosses would be near-impossible to recreate without adding extra character slots, which may or may not be possible, but if you decide that the Koopalings are bosses, you gotta make them playable, too. Not much to say from the others, aside from Waluigi and Honey Queen being incompatible since they share the same spot. Being in Metal Mario’s spot really helps making him overpowered. While some of them are good and others not so much, there’s one that really stands out among the rest: Chain Chomp. *Mission Mode: The thing that made Mario Kart DS unique was this, and PabloMK7 is porting this RIGHT NOW!! I really hope that offline countdown will be implemented so that you won’t have to deal with trolls as much as online. *Countdown Mode: While it does sound good on paper, being only able to play it online pretty much sets the stage for Star trolls which prevent you from moving much at all. *Single-Player VS mode: Definitely the best thing CTGP-7 added to the game, the whole point of installing CFW on my 3DS was for Single-Player VS mode in MK7, which is done really well! Thank you, for this awesome feature! My suggestion to improve this is to force the host’s cc on everyone else to make things fair. ![]() *CC Modifier: Definitely funny to mess around with, but when in Local Multiplayer, your friends could screw up everything by setting their cc modifier to 1cc, which causes the game to crash, to 9999cc, which causes that player (and several CPUs, if any) to fly off the track. ![]() New items on their menu will consistently excite and surprise movie-goers paying their Dine In locations a visit. Want to see some new additions to their menu? Go ahead and tell them – with enough concerns being raised maybe they’ll change it. However, we’d hate to see AMC playing it safe and sticking to the same menu for an extended period of time. This is based on many of the photos taken by AMC customers of their menu and posted online. Does the menu ever change?Īs we’ve seen, their menu has been steady for a little while now. Both of those combined and the prices are bound to be at a slightly higher level. Simply because they’re providing an upmarket experience with a higher quality overall menu. With that being said, now you know how much their Dine In menu costs, you’ll also know that it’s quite a bit higher than AMC’s traditional popcorn and candy bar prices. As the largest cinema chain in the world (literally), AMC has developed massive economies of scale, allowing them to provide an exceptional in-theater menu at a very reasonable price. Surprisingly, the experience is actually quite good value. Management has even hired a promotional team to create a video showcasing the AMC Dine In menu – it sums it up quite nicely, I’d say, in less than 30 seconds as well. The service is so popular, AMC continues to expand their Dine In locations around the states. No matter which option is available at the AMC near you – we know you’re going to like it. Delivery to Seat varies a bit where the staff brings your order to your seat, but you have to order from the counter beforehand. Yep – it’s table service in the cinema itself. ![]() Thankfully, most of the food is quite similar to no matter which option you choose.įull Service is where you can buy your movie ticket, grab a seat in their comfy recliners, and order when you’re ready. AMC Dine In Kids Menu (with fries, fruit cup, drink)Ĭurrently, there are two different versions of the AMC Dine In menu – Full Service and Delivery to Seat. ![]() They both largely don't interact with the rest of the group (100%, in GM's case - but when you pick him up, Durance, too, promises that he only gives a shit about judging you and everyone else is irrelevant) they both don't form substantive friendships and connections with their fellows. Both Durance and Grieving Mother are these high-concept characters with deep secrets that you uncover by… walking around and putting up with their shit long enough to have them say something important. Like, I went to the temple of Magran in the Ducal Palace, and it was basically just a dumb fetch quest, but it felt sooo good not having him there to "add depth to the dialog" by calling every woman involved a treacherous whore.Īnd, uh, honestly, I think Chris Avellone's part of the game - and his was the name that got me to notice it in the first place - is actually the worst, by far. His secret, his vision, his inner struggle - just not worth putting up with all his frothing and ranting and dumbass bigotry for. Once you've played the game and know what his deal is, he's actually… completely insufferable. Ok, so I've kinda dumped on him before, but, seriously. In POE, at least sometimes, there's a real connection to "people know that diplomacy/kindness/honesty/cruelty/impartiality is in your nature." That's cool and good. Like you've actually earned the respect characters give you rather than other games just sorta doing this to paper over how you gained a bunch of levels. It's actually really cool to get to the end of the game and be able to lean back on your past accomplishments to achieve big, difficult things. (If you want to talk about well-done but low-key companion quests, though: Maneha's.) Because at the end of it, Edér's still there and you've tried to help your friend make sense of his life. He's just sort of an pretty good guy, but not one who's gonna get twisted up over stuff incongruously, and his questline is a boring mess, but maybe it's the kind of boring mess that makes you appreciate how there's more to the world than a pile of easy answers and soap-opera reveals. Probably because the writers of Pillars aren't constrained by the annoying habits of "NPC romances." He never falls into that space of being a "comfort me" sad-sack (that I can recall, at least). I keep forgetting about him since he kinda blends in with other whitebread fighter-type NPCs in my head, but there's all these little ways he's not Carth or Allistair or Anomen or The Disciple. Maybe part of that's just jacking up Perception and enjoying the ride more as a result, to be honest. So, like, the combat system's just a little bit deeper and less D&D-derived than I thought. I've also come around to liking Rangers now that I've learned to just buff the pet's damage and use Sagani herself mostly in a support function - and to take Vicious Aim instead of Swift Aim so you can actually try to get damage through on hard targets. ![]() (Durance is just built wrong for a priest, imo: you actually want good Dex to put up the most important bonuses and protections faster, and decent Per to stick your strongest debuff effects so other characters can push through with their control and damage.) ![]() So you're not really hurting yourself much if you don't make your own custom characters, imo. Like, my custom characters aren't that far off from Aloth and Kana Rua. Control/deeps theme, spells like Cold Fog and Concelhaut's Staff.Īnd, tinkering with these characters, one thing I've realized is that a lot of the named NPCs are actually built okay. Oriented around buffs and status effects, including Inspiring Radiance, trying to avoid doing a lot of direct healing. Here's a picture of my party, plus Durance filling in for the last slot until I put someone else in it. There's still a very definitely *pattern* to it all, but I am actually varying it up a lot based on the enemies I engage and the terrain. This time, I'm playing on Hard, with a half-NPC/half-custom party, reasonably optimized but not quite min/maxed (because that requires more and more micro to cover up for all your 3 Con/Res characters).Īnd, like, now that I've started to approach the game more as a battle of status effects, I'm actually having quite a lot of fun. You'd chain-CC your way through most fights, and then a few of the big designated hard ones are just a clusterfuck of trying to chain your way past obnoxious defense numbers. So, first time through POE, I forget whether it was on Normal or Hard, I found the combat system to be pretty tedious. Some things I like more than I thought I would: Here's some disjointed notes about the whole deal. And, so far, it's honestly more fun than I thought it'd be. Not really in "preparation" for Dreadfire but just because I'm low on games to play and it seemed like it'd be entertaining in a comfort-food way. I'm replaying the first Pillars of Eternity. ![]() Lunch at Ultreia, 1701 Wynkoop Street, or ChoLon, 1555 Blake Streetįrom the wraparound mural inspired by a 17th-century landscape to the terrazzo floors and wrought iron details to the colorful patio prime for people watching, the Iberian peninsula–inspired “gastroteka” that is Ultreia exudes romance - and so does the menu, laden with pintxos and tapas made to be shared. I watched this movie some days ago and it's one of the worst movies I have watched in a long time and entirely just feels like a cheap cash grab. But if you like the anime, you'll probably like the movie, so it's worth taking a look. Overall it is a good movie with a few quick laughs (also a lot more guns than ever seen before, they really are in America now, huh), but the art almost makes it feel like a TV special and like the movie was rushed because of all the hype going on with the series. At times these are used epic, other times though it feels really out of place and like they should have used an original track and not tried to force one we've already heard that doesn't quite fit the scene. The use of the soundtrack to kind of felt like they were checking off items in a box, making sure to hit every one of the classic music from the series. The final fight also used 'the power of friendship' trope that I often find the show usually doesn't resort to, making the final encounter almost a bit redundant as it keeps going. The other problem is, a lot of the plot is just predictable at the end, you can almost see every turn coming. The characters who take part in the final fight have a purpose, and as they move up the floors you can get behind their actions, but it almost feels they brought to many of them, and would have done better with a tighter cast of just five of them. I think the story's main problem is adding almost too many of the classmates, some of the kids from UA just happen to be on the Island, and aren't intricate to the plot at all it's just a shot of them in the hotel room, and it's kind of a pointless addition. There's also a large beginning portion of the movie in the first act dedicated to the same flashbacks you've seen a hundred times in the anime. of clunky dialogue with the characters, and at times it seems awkward, as it feels like the characters are just speaking "exposition". Though I find the movie gives quite a bit Dave as well, when you find out his motivation and relationship with All Might. Melissa despite being a little bland you can get behind her actions. It's an enjoyable movie, but this is overshadowed by the fact the artwork looks like a budget episode from the series (most of the time anime movies have better animation, but I find it's the opposite here). Still, I'm hoping the next movie will be better.īoku no Hero Academia the Movie: Futari no Hero is predictable, from the very beginning, but still a typical shounen movie that will make you smile. Story: 8/10 Plot didn't really get me super excited as I watched (maybe I was expecting too much after seeing the plot of this series). The plot is kind of predictable but the fact that it's not a filler movie that pulled a plot out of its arse, it actually provides us some background story of All Might and adds to his characterization earns an 8/10 from me. The fact that most blue foods are also raspberry flavored (way to take up the red market, cherry) is just an added bonus. I would think this to be an unlikely flavor for actual bug juice, but who am I to question? I also find the term “berry raspeberry” to be a bit redundant I suppose it could be taken to mean “raspberry and also some other random berries you may have heard of”, but since the ingredient list predictably only lists “natural and artificial flavors”, we’ll never know.īut how does it taste?
